You and I received Christ when we believed in him. Now, we need to continue to live our lives in him and strengthen our faith as we are rooted and built up in him. To that end, three “Rooted in Christ” courses led by Steve Wilbraham are being offered, each basic to growing our roots deep into Christ, each encouraging the life of personal discipleship.

MATURITY - Sunday, February 22, 5:30pm-8:00pm @RockPoint (includes a light dinner)
This course will focus on our inward relationship with Jesus. Maturity is the biblical idea of growing up. We were like babies when we became Christians, but we are not to remain babies. We grow physically by eating physical food. In a similar way, we grow spiritually by eating spiritual food. In this course, we will talk about spiritual foods that mature us as Christians.
MINISTRY - Sunday, March 29, 5:30pm-8:00pm @RockPoint (includes a light dinner)
If Maturity is about the inner self, Ministry is about that self being involved outwardly in the life of the church. Each of us is a unique person in God’s eyes, with God-given gifts, abilities, personality, and experiences. God wants us to use them in the church. There’s lots of ministry going on at RockPoint. Which best fits who God has made you to be? That’s what we’ll be talking about in the Ministry course.
MISSION - Sunday, April 19, 5:30pm-8:00pm @RockPoint (includes a light dinner)
Ministry is for the church; mission is for the world. Mission focuses on taking our relationship with Jesus into the world where our words and actions tell of his love for all who do not yet know him. At work, in our families, with our neighbors, and wherever else God has placed us, that is where our Mission is.
