RockPoint Students will embark on a short-term local mission trip to the Houston area to help the local community with disaster recovery. Students will get to meet amazing friends from all over Texas, experience spiritual growth in Bible study, and participate in lively worship. The missional work includes restoring hope, rebuilding communities, and reflecting Christ in areas impacted by disasters or where homes are in need of rehabilitation through hands-on construction missions. On Wednesday we will have an amazing celebratory beach day in Galveston before returning home!

FIRST STEPS

  •  Register participant with RockPoint Church
  • Pay trip cost 
    • You can pay online or on the app at the RockPoint giving link (on website or on app) - please select “Bounce Mission Trip” under giving designation and list participant name in the “Notes” section… 
    • OR You can pay by check to RockPoint Church with participant name and “Mission Trip” under “notes”
  • Complete the Bounce Participant Form and give to Bethany

Rules / Expectations
  • All shirts must have sleeves and must cover the full torso
  • No offensive or inappropriate content on clothing, and no offensive or inappropriate language
  • No firearms, drugs, alcohol, refrigerators, bunkers, or chandeliers.
  • Modest shorts are ok when not on the worksite
  • Worksite attire: long pants (jeans are best), durable closed-toe shoes (no crocs or sandals), and avoid fancy expensive stuff as it might get damaged
  • No pranks
  • No pda (physical touch limited to “high 5’s”)
  • Be where you’re supposed to be, when you’re supposed to be there, with what you’re supposed to have, wearing what you’re supposed to wear, with the attitude you’re supposed to embody
  • Respect and obey BOUNCE leadership and RPSM leadership
  • Respect the other participants, leaders, and anyone else we may encounter along the way
  • Boys and girls areas are to remain completely separate
  • Respect the facilities we will be staying at and using and keep your own area clean
  • Seek to glorify God through your hard work, positive attitude, and your healthy relationships during the BOUNCE experience
  • DON’T be a jerk; DO be a reflection of Christ’s love
