The Outrageous Challenge

If you were to ask a bunch of people how they want to live their life you would hear a multitude of answers, most that we could all agree with and even desire for ourselves. Answers such as living free, living right, living rich, living healthy, living happy, or even living fulfilled. More than likely LIVING OUTRAGEOUS isn’t near the top of anyone’s list, however, when we start investigating the teachings of Jesus, we start to see that LIVING OUTRAGEOUS is exactly what God is inviting us to do. In Luke 10 Jesus tells the parable of the Good Samaritan, answering a great question asked for the wrong reasons.

Over the course of the next three weeks during the Living Outrageous series leading up to Easter we are inviting you to accept the “Outrageous Challenge!” There will be six 5-minute devotional readings following each message in this series. By accepting this challenge you will spend TWENTY ONE DAYS engaging God’s Word! If you’re not in the habit of doing a daily devotional this is a great way to start! It is our prayer that by interacting with these daily devotionals alongside the story of the Good Samaritan from Luke 10 over the next three Sundays that you would together we would all be challenged and encouraged to consider what it would mean for each of us and for our church to truly be LIVING OUTRAGEOUS.
