You were designed to be a part of a church family. And that's exactly what RockPoint Church is intended to be - your family. A healthy family has common mission, vision, and values. At RockPoint we want to share with you what we believe and where we're going. God wants all of us to grow as disciples that we might truly live out His plan for our life. More than anything else, our RockPoint family wants to come alongside you and help you understand what it means to be a disciple and grow as one as you pursue God.
101 is our basic introduction to our church family and is designed to clearly explain who and what our church is.
Membership is broken into four sessions covering:
- Our Salvation (clearly understanding a relationship with God and the significance of baptism)
- Our Statements (which are our RockPoint values)
- Our Strategy (Who we are and how we accomplish what God has for each and every one of us as his followers and as a church)
- Our Structure (how we operate as a church, make decisions, keep you informed, etc.)
AAt the end of our time together there will be an opportunity if you so choose to take it to complete the membership process by completing and signing the Membership Covenant. Doing so, however, is NOT a requirement of the Membership class, and you are more than welcome to do so at another time. We're not "selling" anything, so please do not feel any pressure whatsoever. We want you to be prayerful and comfortable with whichever you choose to do.
